I moved to Barcelona

I left New York City with my husband and sons a couple of years ago in search of new experiences and a change of pace. After getting rid of most of what we owned, we landed in Barcelona and had to figure out where and how to live and work with two small kids. We found an amazing old apartment in the center of Barcelona near some of the best food and culture, where our balcony is the perfect perch to watch daily Catalan life unfold below.

While it hasn’t been easy, leaving the U.S. and starting a life here has been eye-opening. Barcelona Apartment is where I share what I’ve learned about moving and living abroad with anyone who is Spain- and Mediterranean-curious or anyone who has dreamed of moving abroad.
